Since 2010, our Ashtanga yoga teacher training program has trained yoga lovers from all around the world and certified under the Yoga Alliance international standard hundreds of them to teach yoga classes with safety and confidence. Our Yoga training supports students in deepening their understanding and relationship to the practice by studying the magic ingredients of Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga as taught by Patthabi Joi: breath, bandhas and dristi.
With comprehensive methods to make the practice accessible and appropriate, our approach is modern, therapeutic, challenging, supportive and stepped in tradition.
The course is set upon the sequence of the Ashtanga Primary Series (Yoga Chikitsa) and the creative flow found in the Vinyasa Flow style of asana practice (eg. Rocket Yoga Vinyasa). While the traditional Ashtanga Primary series lays a strong foundation for the students, they will also learn from various other yoga styles on which to draw from in developing and sequencing a Vinyasa Flow class. In these styles, asana are practiced using breath, dristi (gaze) and bandhas (inner energy locks). By the end of the course, students will be able to teach with confidence the Ashtanga primary series as well as creating their own Vinyasa Flow sequences.
From Day 1, the course will lead the students through the proper techniques including key alignments, modifications, variations, contraindications, use of basic yoga props as well as the art of adjustment techniques, teaching methodology and practice teaching.
As the foundation of the Ashtanga Yoga Vinyasa primary series is established, principles of sequencing will be taught so that students can create a Vinyasa Yoga flow class according to the needs of their own students or class. In addition to the Yang practice of Ashtanga and to balance it, we will incorporate other styles of yoga such as Yin Yoga to provide the students a broader horizon of yoga styles and enhance their knowledge in general. Thai Yoga massage will also be introduced to become comfortable touching appropriately and adjusting safely your future students.
We will also share our strong expertise on the business or Yoga about marketing, pricing, teaching group or private classes, and setting up your own yoga school.
We intend to support each student as they develop, deepen, appreciate and expand their understanding of their true authentic self. Through practical study of Yoga philosophy, personal alignment, modifications of classical poses, pranayama practices, meditation and individual instruction, this intimate training is sure to be a life enhancing experience. We look forward to working with you.

Yoga Course Testimonials
Rosie Tapsell – New Zealand
I have really enjoyed this yoga teacher training. The teachers are friendly, inspiring, funny and very knowledgeable. I have learned so much! It has been challenging physically, mentally and emotionally but I am leaving feeling very ready to teach. The best part has been sharing this amazing experience with 23 other awesome like minded people fro all over the world. I will miss them so much!
Danielle Deramo – USA
The other day during our last yoga class I cried. It was the first time all of the feeligns came out on my mat. I realized I was crying because I am truly happy. This experience has showed me so much about myself. I loved how passionate my teachers were about what they were teaching. I witnessed myself wanting to learn everything they knew and more. Some days I felt like I could not do it and there was no way I was going to make it. But I learned to shout out my negative mind. I learned to only focus on the present. I learned to let go. When I did I became free! I made it! I’m so proud of myself, I could not have survived without my teachers and the students. It’s a new beginning. Thank you!
Andreas Rapp – Austria
This has been a real life challenger all for the better. Be mindful this place is a gorgeous and beautiful tropical island but it’s not holiday! The work is all rewarded, my body feels better and my mind a lot more clear. I gained 28 new friends from all over the world!
Becky Hannah – UK
I came on the course to test my authenticity was a teacher and whether or not I was just a gymnast or it went deeper. The training has opened up much more in me than just the physical postures and taught me to let go and trust the process. The teaching is fun, accessible and friendly. Each teacher contributes a different unique flavor and colour which has offered me a different lesson and mirror to myself. I am going back feeling inspired, and positive about the future. This is just the beginning, never stop learning!
